Funny things, trips, and memories

So this has been the best fall that I can remember. The last month has been gorgeous weather, unfortunately, Meieli has been sick for much of that month. She has a cold and a nasty cough that just won't go away. She has taken it pretty well and hasn't been too mean :)

We have been having a great time this fall. We have gone on a couple of mini vacations, and have done a lot of playing and working outside. We have spent a lot of time getting firewood and splitting it. Brady and Gibson are actually pretty good helpers. Of course they only last about 10 minutes before getting distracted by a bug, or by a piece of bark that looks like a gun.

We recently took a trip to Bozeman just for the fun of it. We had never been there, so we just packed up and went. We took the kids to the Rocky Mountain Museum, which has an excellent dinosaur exhibit. They have full sized real T-Rex heads, and huge life-size dinosaurs everywhere. What a great time. Gibson just kept yelling "Whoa" everywhere we went.

This is Brady and Gibson at the candy store in West Yellowstone. They were going crazy in here. Brady had fun even though he looks like he is at a funeral.

Brady and Gibson playing in the driveway. We love our boys. How could you not?

Went for a sunday drive and saw all the beautiful colors. I had my camera and tripod so we set the bench up, I pushed the button and ran into the picture. This is Brady's "Tree Face". We have been trying to get him to do a natural smile for a long time, but he just won't. Well for this picture, we said Brady, can you please do a nice smile. He told us he would do the "Tree Face". Turns out the Tree Face is a pretty darn good one.

Brady and Trevor hanging out. This is where Brady goes everytime we go to Grandma's. He just disappears in there.

For some reason Gibson does this alot when he is coloring. Maybe we should introduce the floor to him; same concept, much safer.

Brady trying to fly with his Batman cape on.

Gibson is hilarious. He makes the funniest sound for a horse. It is basically the horse sounds Meieli and I taught him, but he does it so fast it almost sounds like a sneeze. He also learned to jump, and wiggle his butt. That is a lot to learn in one day!
